Brief :

When heavily armed attackers surround the property and use high-tech jammers to block all communications, the ranch turns into an active battleground. Cut off from the outside world, Sully and Elena have to pool their skills to keep Ollie and everyone else alive. As the siege intensifies, they are left wondering who the real target is: Ollie, the young witness, or Elena, who carries her own hidden past.
My opinion :
If you love fast-paced suspense that grabs you from page one and never lets go, Twilight Tactics delivers in a big way. Lynette Eason knows how to write a siege storyline that feels genuinely claustrophobic and intense. The tension starts early and ramps up constantly as the characters face tech-savvy enemies, drones, signal jammers, and ruthless attackers.
The characters are easily one of the best parts of this book. Sully is a fantastic lead: protective, capable, and grounded. Elena is equally impressive as a tough, resourceful survival instructor who does not back down when things go wrong. Their forced proximity and growing trust feel natural, adding a sweet romantic spark right in the middle of all the chaos.
Ollie is a total standout as well! She is smart, proactive, and resilient, making her way more than just a typical passive witness character. The setting of Broken Chains Ranch also gives the story a unique heart, showing a community of veterans working through trauma who step up when danger hits their doorstep.
With unexpected twists, great action scenes, and a plot that keeps you guessing about who is really behind the attacks, this was an absolute page-turner.
A pulse-pounding romantic suspense thriller packed with action, heart, and high-stakes danger. I highly recommend it to fans of Christian suspense and fast action reads!
