For me, being a kid at heart means holding on to that uncomplicated joy we had when we were younger. Back then, our worries weren’t complex, and our emotions had one simple goal, to be happy, to do things that made our hearts feel light. I think that’s what people mean when they use the phrase “kid at heart.” It’s not about immaturity; it’s about being carefree in a thoughtful way. It’s about making choices guided by emotion and instinct, not by fear of judgment or overthinking what could go wrong. To be a kid at heart is to live freely, with curiosity and courage, just like we once did, before the world told us to be cautious.
