My father has been one of the most influential people in my life. His patience, persistence, and kindness have shaped the person I am today in ways I could never have learned otherwise. He took on responsibility very young, after losing his mother to vertebral cancer, and yet he has always carried himself with strength and selflessness. He has been the quiet anchor of our family, the one who stands steady no matter what. I hope that one day I make him proud, not just through what I achieve, but through the values he has instilled in me.
