Brief :

The story centers around a witch in Britain named Mika Moon. Being one of the few witches in the country, Mika knows she must keep her magic hidden, stay under the radar, and avoid other witches so their powers don’t mix and attract unwanted attention. But one day, an unexpected message arrives, pleading with her to journey to the secluded and mysterious Nowhere House to teach three young witches how to control their magic.

Upon arriving, Mika quickly becomes entangled in the lives and secrets of not just the three young witches, but also the prickly librarian who watches over Nowhere House. As she guides the girls, Mika soon discovers something she never expected, a place where she truly belongs, a family she never knew she could have.

My opinion :

Imagine a book that feels like sitting on a cozy couch by the window, listening to the soft rain outside, with a warm drink in your hands. It’s the perfect companion for those November days, capturing the cozy transition between fall and winter. That’s what this book is: “A comforting embrace in words”.

Although it felt somewhat repetitive and predictable at points, and the character development fell short of my expectations.

Overall this was a magical read. I couldn’t put it down and finished it in a single day, wishing it would never end. It’s the warmest, most magical feeling I’ve had from a story since reading Harry Potter, and that says a lot.

I know I’ll be thinking about this enchanting tale for a very long time.
